We’re so excited about the number of new students, visiting students, and the devotion of our parents and students who attend regularly. Children ages 4 thru 6th Grade meet for Sunday School in the Tree House educational classrooms at 9:15 AM using a curriculum developed from Weaving God’s Promises and Spark Curriculum. Children join the service during the Peace. We look forward to seeing you this Fall!
Please register your child for this season of Children’s Church/Sunday School – Children’s Ministry is available for children ages 0 through 11 (5th Grade).
As most of you know from volunteering in our 9:15 Sunday School class and our Children’s Church, I continue to try to find ways to engage our youngest being four years old and our oldest being a fourth grader. This new curriculum uses a “buddy system,” I am so excited to see how this engages all of our students together. The new curriculum will also allow children to learn how to look up scripture in the Bible and how to navigate around a Bible, where to find things. We will continue to use Spark Curriculum and refer to Weaving God’s Promises as this teaches the children about our Episcopal Tradition and practices. We will also be using a “buddy system” style of learning in Children’s Church to try and accommodate the large age gap, I have been trying it out this Summer as a trial run and it has been working beautifully. It makes the older children really feel like they are being leaders in the class and it makes the younger children feel more connected to the older children. Please let me know if you would like to volunteer in any of the ministries listed above. Contact me at Beth Brendlinger at
